kids with tattoos on face?

one of my acquaintances pushes carts at walmart he is 19. he is into metal and punk shows and suck, he wears tight pants and drinks alot. He recently got a tattoo on his face of music notes and stars. let me tell you, he looks ridiculous. I asked him if he likes his job and how he excpeted to get another with his new tattoo(fairly large) Why do people do this kind of thing when they do not even have alot of arm tattoos? whats the point? im trying to understand a few things here.

I think this is called Terminal Stupidity. I have a lot of tattoos myself but they can ALL be easily covered up by clothing. I would NEVER get a tattoo on my face or neck or hands.
